The on-site restaurants at the hotel have an extensive menu and as mentioned by past guests they have relished the delicious food served to them. The food quality is amazing and the dishes have a good portion size.

The convenient location of Mutiara Johor Bahru has proved to be beneficial for visitors. As the hotel is centrally located, guests can walk and explore the nearby shopping centre Holiday Plaza, entertainment district, food joints and iconic tourist attractions.

Past guests have liked the outdoor pool area and gym facilities at this property. Because of its size, the pool never gets crowded. Also, the fitness centre has plenty of room and equipment which usual places tend to cut out.

The hotel's reception and lobby area certainly steals the show but some of the past guests have been disappointed with the cleanliness standards in the guest rooms. In some instances, the rooms were not serviced properly and had dirty bedding.

As expressed by past guests, Mutiara Johor Bahru can do better with the sound insulation in the room as some of past guests suggested that rooms facing the road side had some traffic noise coming off the street and train station.

The on-site restaurants and bars at this property have not been able to impress past guests reason being the delayed service. As reported, you might have to wait a while to be seated as the restaurants are usually overbooked.
