Di Firenze is a three-storied hotel set in a restored watermill on the Arno
River in Florence, Italy. The hotel is around three miles from Costoli
Pool.
The rooms and suites at the hotel are equipped with LCD satellite TVs, desks, in-room safes and minibars with country or river views. Bathrooms have jetted bathtubs, bidets, free toiletries and hair dryers provided. In-room massages are available. Suites also have four poster beds and separate sitting areas.

Beautiful and romantic property
Of course the Mulino di Firenze is a luxury property. Guests knew this before they booked. But going by their comments it seems that the property exceeded even their wildest dreams. Again and again guests mentioned how beautiful it was, saying that it was the perfect place for couples to go for a romantic stay.

Almost all guests mentioned that the food coming out of the kitchen matched the wonderful surroundings of the hotel. It was said to be the very best of Italian cuisine, prepared and presented with exquisite care and attention.

Guests mentioned that, being some way outside the city itself, the whole area around the hotel was serene and peaceful, especially with the Arno River flowing right past the property.

Problems with the shuttle to Florence
While all guests appreciated that that the hotel provided a free shuttle to Florence, by their very nature shuttles can't please all guests. Some felt that there should be earlier or later shuttles provided, and didn't like that their day was cut short by having to rush back for the hotel shuttle.

A bit difficult to find
Quite a few guests driving to the hotel said that it was difficult to find. It seems that many SatNav systems give the wrong directions, leading to lost guests and a lot of frustration. It may be necessary to purchase special maps, or make sure you have programmed in the correct GPS co-ordinates to make sure directions are sound.

Strong scents throughout
While not mentioned often, it was pointed out that the rooms and public areas are sprayed with scents by the hotel. Most probably would like this, but those with allergies may experience some issues.
