positive:
You'll never be bored.
With so much to do and see, you will never run out of activities to try. Reviewers cited the turtle release, the day trip to Contoy Island (extra charge), and the dolphin swim as especially memorable experiences.
positive:
The resort is truly family-friendly.
This is a popular destination for families with children of all ages. Teenagers can enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding or jet skiing off the beach, while for younger kids the Kids' Club offers a huge variety of indoor and outdoor activities. There are even supervised play rooms for babies.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The beach is not pleasant.
Unlike resorts further down the coast, the focal point of Moon Palace is not the beach. Many reviewers remarked that the beach was strewn with seaweed that smelled bad. Fortunately, the resort has seven pools, a Flowrider and plenty of other water activities to keep you occupied.
negative:
Restaurants get crowded at meal times.
Guests found that the resort's eateries became very busy during breakfast, lunch and dinner, and that they had to wait up to two hours to be seated. It's therefore a good idea to get to your chosen restaurant when it opens for service, or to make a reservation whenever possible.
negative:
Some activities are hard to book.
Some reviewers were disappointed that it was difficult to get tee times at the golf course, and to book spa treatments, because these services were so popular. Others said it's hard to make arrangements for various activities through the vacation planning service.
