Practically everyone who's stayed here has loved the hotel's location, set as it is right in the bustling heart of lively Wan Chai with its seemingly limitless dining, drinking and shopping opportunities. Having plentiful bus, tram and bus options so close by makes it a great base for exploring the rest of the city as well.

Many guests loved the TVs in the guest rooms as they come with hundreds of free movies, as well as thousands of songs and radio stations. Having a DVD player is a nice touch too
It is an unfortunate fact that there isn't a lift here to serve the levels which the hotel has guest rooms on. Needless to say, very few visitors appreciated having to lug their suitcases (unaided) up multiple flights of stairs.
The vast majority of guests who've stayed here have been disappointed and - in some cases - quite offended by the surly attitude of the hotel receptionists. Evidently, it's not just the decor which is stuck in the 1960s here.
In addition to the constant hustle and bustle of Wan Chai's throbbing streets below, many visitors have noted that they were frequently disturbed by the noise of other guests traipsing up and down the stairs at night. Numerous guests suggested that wearing ear plugs is the only effective way to counter the hotel's seemingly absent soundproofing.
