Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent location for beach and town
Mimosa's location was perhaps what most impressed guests about the hotel. It was described as being mere steps from the beach- close enough that it may as well have been right on it. Also mentioned was that the town centre was nearby, so guests could easily take a stroll to find an interesting café or bar.
positive:
Good variety at the buffet restaurant
While guests certainly did like the food itself, which they described as tasty, it was the variety that most impressed them. Again and again guests said that there were so many different types of foods to choose from the buffet, that even the picky eaters of their party did not get bored over the course of the holiday.
positive:
Very good value for money
Pretty much all guests who brought this up said that they thought they received excellent value for money, especially considering the central location of the hotel.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Bit of noise from local karaoke bar
While noise complaints were not all that numerous, a few guests did single out a local karaoke bar for criticism, saying that it stays open until the small hours. As a result guests had the unfortunate benefit of hearing (bad…terribly bad) renditions of “Rehab”, serenade them while they tried to sleep.
negative:
Extra fees
A few guests mentioned that things like air conditioning, and even in-room fridges cost extra. While the hotel doesn't hide this fact in its marketing materials some guests simply felt they should have been included.
negative:
Small showers
Though it appears to only affect a minority of rooms, it does seem that some showers are very small, and guests allocated to those rooms felt they were not big enough to take a proper shower.
