Hotel Marina Bay Resort (Fort Walton Beach, USA)

The location of Marina Bay Resort is a real plus. It is within easy walking distance of a variety of places to eat and shop, while the harbor, beaches and city park are close by as well.

The external areas of this property are really well maintained and attractive. You'll find plenty of areas to relax and the atmosphere is pleasant in all of them. The heated swimming pool and hot tub are good places to chill out, while fishing from the pier or having a barbecue is enjoyable as well. Everything is clean and nowhere ever feels overcrowded.

The staff at this hotel are great. They are very approachable and couldn't be any more helpful. They seem willing to go beyond the normal levels of customer service to please.

While the public areas of Marina Bay Resort are really nicely maintained, some of the guestrooms could use a revamp. Much of the furniture is really starting to show its age and there is a certain musty scent from time to time.

There is no restaurant at this resort, nor do most rooms have coffee-makers or refrigerators, so you will have to go out if you want to get something to eat or a cup of coffee.

The walls here feel rather on the thin side, meaning that, if the people in the next room are being noisy, you will definitely hear it. Even if they aren't being especially loud, sounds such as snoring and the TV may be audible to you.
