The four-star Laterra Resort, otherwise known as Luke’s Laterra or Laterra Condominiums offers self-catered rooms and condominiums of varying size, featuring an on-site golf course and spa among other amenities. Rooms and suites are fully furnished with Mediterranean accents and include a balcony or patio, separate dining and living areas and a kitchen/kitchenette with a fridge and microwave as well as utensils and cookware. Guests can also enjoy satellite television and free local calls on the in-room telephone. There are two meeting rooms and a business centre on site. Guests at Laterra can enjoy the hot tub or relax in the gardens and sun loungers adjacent to the heated outdoor swimming pool. Free parking is available. The resort is self-catering however there are restaurants a short drive away in the town centre. Olde City, World Golf Village and St. Augustine Outlets are a few minutes away.

Staying at Laterra gives you the advantage of being in a peaceful, secluded setting on the property without being too isolated from the rest of St. Augustine. There is no physical reception desk for the whole resort and you reach the staff for any queries via a given phone number. This has proved to make checking in a long process for a few visitors as well as making it near impossible to request anything for the rooms e.g. Extra towels. There are however daily housekeeping services.
A number of guests have checked in only to find the previous occupants' used dishes still in the sink or dishwasher and various other conditions that suggest the cleaning needs to be checked over.
