The rooms are very private and secluded, and so guests have enjoyed some lovely relaxing holidays and romantic getaways here. Features such as the private patio and open to air showers and the romantically done up suites were very popular with couples.
The staff is very courteous, professional and helpful said guests. The food served at the resort restaurants is of a very high quality. There are many vegetarian options offered. Allergies and food intolerances are also well taken care of for guests.
The larger salt water pools at the VIK Suite Risco del Gato are not heated and the water can be very cold. The indoor pool which is heated is rather small said guests. Some guests felt that the hotel, while good was not great and that it had a lot of unfulfilled potential. There is a lack of attention to the little details and issues such as water shortages do occur.
Guests travelling as families pointed out that the clothing optional beaches that are close to this hotel may not be ideal for families with kids.
The resort is a little far from tourist hot spots and guests required to hire a car to get to places from the resort.
