positive:
Good value for money.
Guests found the rooms to be basic but comfortable, tidy and clean, decorated with modern furnishings and with amenities such as toiletries and a Nespresso coffee machine provided. Some guests also had a view of the Paris rooftops.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Wi-Fi and air conditioning problems.
Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning are offered at Le General, however they cannot always be relied upon to work. Some guests found the Wi-Fi signal to be slow or weak while others could not connect at all. The air conditioning also appears to break down at various times, which may be a particular nuisance in warm whether when the rooms tend to get hot and stuffy.
negative:
Small and basic rooms.
The rooms were reportedly basic and not as polished as expected. You may also find the size of the rooms to be quite small, with the smallest rooms being 10 and 15 square metres in size.
negative:
Soundproofing not always effective.
While the windows are sound proofed, you will not be protected from the sounds of traffic or other street noise if you keep the windows open. Some guests also complained that the walls were thin and that the sounds of guests in the adjoining rooms could be easily heard.
