About Las Adelfas
Barely 200 yards from sandy Los Pocillos Beach, Las Adelfas is a small resort property offering bright and cheerful self-catering accommodation and a lovely pool terrace.
Accommodation available ranges from studios to two bedroom apartments. They are all arranged around the pool terrace and feature private balconies or patios, as well as fully-equipped kitchens.
The pool terrace is of course the focus of attention at the resort. Aside from the adult and children’s pools, the area also features all the requisite sun beds, where you can start working on that tan.
There’s a pool bar and regular bar at the resort, as well as a clubhouse restaurant. Those not self-catering can also ask reception staff for some good local dining recommendations.
While the nearby beaches are perhaps the most popular attraction, those interested in volcanoes should not miss a trip to the Timanfaya National Park, approximately 13 miles from Las Adelfas.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent pool bar and restaurant
Recent guests (July 2016), report that a new company has taken over the pool bar and restaurant. The reviews since then have been very good indeed, with guests especially complimentary of the staff, who they said not only served drinks and food, but made genuine and heartfelt efforts to make everyone to feel welcome and part of the place.
positive:
Great location close to the beach
Going by the reviews, it seems that most of the time guests did not spend at the resort's pool was spent on one of the nearby beaches. Since most had come to Lanzerote for a bit of a beach break, they were very happy that the it was so close they could walk there in a minute or so.
positive:
The little extras
Many guests were very impressed with the little extras included with the apartments. It seems a starter pack of milk, tea salt. pepper etc. is provided, which guests felt was a thoughtful, and very sensible, gesture.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Definitely in need of renovation
This was perhaps the most common complaint. Guests reported that the property needed quite a bit of work, both in the rooms and public areas. They mentioned that it looked like this was taking place, but only piecemeal. As a result, it may be some time before the property is fully restored to its former glory.
negative:
Broken sun beds
A very specific compliant that was often repeated was that many of the sun beds on the terrace were broken. This either made them difficult or impossible to use properly, and hampered guests in their important task of relaxing by the pool.
negative:
Poor Wi-Fi
A large number of guests reported being frustrated with the Wi-Fi, saying that both reliability and the quality of the service were very poor.
