Negative Reviews
negative:
Limited Wi-Fi reach
Although the property offers free Wi-Fi for guests, it is often reported that the Wi-Fi does not reach the rooms above the ground floor. Many reviews suggest this is inconvenient and would prefer to have Wi-Fi access throughout the property.
negative:
Difficult to reach with public transport
The property is located several kilometres from the nearby town of Killarney and there is only a limited bus schedule serving the area. Therefore guests suggest that this hostel is more suited to those who have their own personal transportation, as it can be tricky to access to the hostel at irregular hours.
negative:
Lack of plug sockets
Guests indicate that there is a lack of plug sockets in the rooms of the hostel. There are many reports of only one socket being in a room, which in a shared environment can be very frustrating. Multiple guests mention having to sit and charge electronic devices in the common areas.
