Guests are amazed how compact some of the double rooms actually are. More like single-occupancy rooms, you have hardly any room to move around. However, compared to the size of some of the bathrooms, they may appear positively spacious! You may never have seen a bathroom so tiny in your life. Guests claim that it is quite a challenge to have a shower as you haven't even got the room to turn around!
Your sleep could be disturbed by noise coming from the streets outside. Guests say that the sound-proofing isn't very effective and you can hear people outside and also from the neighbourign rooms.
Although Montmartre is lovely and picturesque, much of the 18th arrondissement is not so attractive. Many guests find it dirty, with lots of dodgy people and pickpockets hanging around.
