Positive Reviews
positive:
Nice accommodations
All units are tidy and clean and decorated with comfort and pleasure in mind. The kitchens are fully-equipped and functional for cooking all meals. The wood floors are a nice touch. Some units have terraces and the units are serviced every day. Free parking adds to the value.
positive:
Close, but far
The busy, and loud, area of town is about a 20-minute walk away. There are countless restaurants, pubs, and markets to make for a convenient stay. However, the location on a quiet street makes this feel like a homey stay instead of a fighting constant crowds.
positive:
A lot of little extras
The free breakfast in the morning is tasty and provides a lot of different choices. There are also free and unlimited snacks and drinks. The hotel also allows free phone calls during the day.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Quirks with the rooms
Not all rooms are located in the same building. You might have to check in and then keep on walking. Some rooms have really tiny baths, with sloping floors and ceilings and some have weird layouts. It's just the luck of the draw.
negative:
Minor inconveniences
There is no lift at the hotel, which can be a problem in a room with four floors. Parking is also very narrow and tight and finding a space will be a true test of your driving skills.
negative:
Probably not for tourists
The hotel does not cater to tourists and doesn't really give recommendations or help in this area. Guests will have to make determined efforts to seek out sites to visit. This hotel is best suited for those who already know their way around this area of Brussels, as the streets are very confusing and directions from the hotel can be frustrating.
