Hermitage Lodge is nestled on 25 acres in Pokolbin, in the heart of the Hunter Valley vineyards. Many of the area's popular wineries, cellar doors and tourist attractions are within walking distance or a short drive. The Lodge's 20 Studios and Suites offer 4 ½ star boutique Hunter Valley accommodation and personal, attentive service rarely found today. All rooms have a deck or veranda offering views over the property's own Shiraz vineyard and small lake. A salt water pool, guest lounge and guest laundry are an impressive range of facilities for such a boutique property. Hermitage Lodge’s on-site award-winning Hunter Valley restaurant ‘Il Cacciatore’ specialises in Northern Italian inspired cuisine, and is open for dinner nightly from 6pm. 'Il Cacciatore' is fully licensed and is available for group lunch bookings, private functions and special events with prior arrangement. The restaurant also conducts cooking classes; ideal for a group of friends or for off-site conference groups.
