Hôtel du Grand Lac Excelsior (Montreux, Switzerland)

The staff members are said to be friendly and spoke good English. Their kindness was noted well by many guests who thought they were very helpful. They tried their best to handle guest requests with due diligence.

The hotel is thought to be a charming place with lots of character for many guests. The décor was classy and added to the charm of the place. The cared for magnolias outside also contributed to the nice surroundings and the positive opinion of the hotel.

The views from the hotel are said to be beautiful and amazing, with a charming town, lake and mountain views. Most guests were happy with the nice views and felt there was a lot of character to the area. The balconies is some rooms were a nice touch.

Some guests felt the breakfast was too expensive for the amount of items available, and felt the meal was too basic. The breakfast was not worth the price.

Some guests mentioned you could easily hear the voices from the next door rooms which made for an annoying stay. They did not want to hear what the next door people were doing or saying but it could not be ignored easily.

There are no tea and coffee makers in the hotel rooms which some guests found annoying. The breakfast was found to be a bit expensive and some guests were charged quite a bit for some cups of tea with milk.
