We are halfway between Whakatane and Te Puke in the Bay of Plenty, North Island, New Zealand, with a beautiful garden in a picturesque, peaceful valley just off State Highway 2 on the coast. Our two bedroom suite includes a small kitchenette equipped with a microwave, dishes and cutlery for light meal preparation, plus a BBQ you can use. The rooms and very comfortable, roomy and stylish, one a Queen, and in the other two king-singles, all with views over the garden and down to the coast. The private bathroom is downstairs, and the suite is only let to one party at a time. We specialize in home-grown, home-made, beautiful breakfasts and dinners by arrangement. We have an old fox terrier, and a pig! We are centrally situated for day trips to Rotorua, Tauranga/ Mount Maunganui/ Papamoa, and the gateway to Whakaari – White Island – at Whakatane. A 5-minute walk takes you to the beach, or you can walk our quiet no-exit road or climb the imposing hills. Many birds enjoy are garden, and farm animals graze the paddocks around us. Rural accommodation with style – and a smile!
