Amazing amenities and activities
Guests reported enjoying a range of on site services and activities, including use of the fitness center, tennis court, water slide, outdoor swimming pools that were available for both adults and children. Other nearby activities included golfing at the nearby El Camaleón Golf Course, biking, hiking, boat rides on the canal, snorkeling, kayaking and swimming at the beach.

Great overall experience
The rooms are well appointed, comfortably air conditioned and clean. Some rooms also have a balcony and picturesque views. The restaurants offer a choice of fresh and delicious dishes including fresh seafood and a variety of drinks and cocktails are on offer.

The staff were described as friendly and attentive, warm, helpful and hardworking. This including the reception staff as well as the ground keepers who kept the resort grounds and amenities were well presented and clean.

Additional expenses
Some guests reported that the resort is overpriced. The meals and drinks were found to be expensive, as were the additional charges for services such as Wi-Fi, children's club, use of the fitness center and spa services. To travel out of the resort, you'll need to hire a car or taxi, and some guests found the taxi service to be expensive.

Long wait at the buffet table
Guests also reported that during busy periods, long waiting times in the cue for the buffet could be expected. Some guests also had the impression that the resort was understaffed, or perhaps overly busy, as sometimes they waited for long periods before their order arrived.

Ocean full of seaweed
The beaches are typically pristine and clean, however during certain periods they can become full of seaweed. Guests who encountered this were disappointed that the hotel did not take steps to clean up the beaches.
