Hotel el Mono Feliz is an eco-friendly resort (where over 70 percent of our electricity is solar-generated) nestled in the Foodie Capital of Costa Rica - the village of Ojochal. We are within a short drive of amazing opportunities for raw adventure with choices like whale watching, zip lines, Corcovado National Park, whitewater rafting, jungle hikes, horseback riding, beaches, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and so much more. Our accommodations range from simple but clean and updated hotel rooms to our wonderful Jungle Bungalows which are in the heart of our tropical gardens and within earshot of a river and a creek. The Jungle Bungalows and our Garden View Villa each feature a private small kitchen. All of our rooms have private bathrooms with a shower. All of our rooms have a refrigerator. At our riverfront, you'll find the beautiful and calming Rio Balso and our Yoga Shala (or relaxation station - hammocks are there when yoga mats are not!). We have a newly renovated outdoor pool with lounges, tables, and plenty of room to enjoy yourself in this tropical paradise. We can't wait to welcome you!
