Given the older appearance of this motel, guests were very happy to find that, on the whole, the rooms here are clean and well-maintained. The spacious bathrooms were an unexpected perk, especially at this price point.

Many found the I-89 location of this motel to be extremely handy for heading into and away from Vermont’s state capital. In addition to its good location, this property boasts a substantial full buffet breakfast. Given the quality of the offerings, this was a point much appreciated by guests, who felt that, overall, this property represented excellent value for money for the area.

Old rooms in need of TLC
The individual guest rooms here are very dated. Many commented that the fixtures and fittings looked old and worn, as do the beds. While surfaces and sheets were spotless, many felt that the carpets at this motel are in need of a substantial deep clean.

This property is set on top of a hill, with guests observing that its location had the potential to cause some mobility issues. At the very least, it made for less than comfortable walking into Montpelier.

Finally, many were disappointed to find that this property does not have an elevator. This was especially frustrating for those with bulky luggage and/or mobility issues.
