There have been complaints about the fact that this property has shared bathrooms. Guests were expecting to have their own bathrooms, only to arrive at the lodge and learn that most of the rooms do not have en-suites.

Multiple guests have mentioned that the walls at this lodge are quite thin. Guests have frequently been woken up early in the morning by people walking around or talking in other rooms, even when these neighbours weren't being particularly loud.

Guests have complained that the property is a bit far from the beach in Tofino. While it is within walking distance, it is a long walk and guests without vehicles were upset about having to take a taxi to Tofino, since no transportation is provided.
