Positive Reviews
positive:
Nice part of town
Guests like where the hotel is located, down a relatively calm side street, yet in a quite vibrant district. You are just a couple of minutes away from the Grand Boulevards metro station, meaning you can get to all the main sights with the minimum of fuss. There are nice places to eat and drink out in the area too.
positive:
Pleasant staff
Guests are, on the whole, won over by the charm and friendliness of the hotel's staff. They are very friendly and accommodating, doing all they can to help - with a smile - and speak excellent English.
positive:
Precious parking spaces
Grab them while you can' urge guests. Parking in the centre of Paris is not easy and the hotel's limited parking spaces are like gold-dust - even if the rates are pretty reasonable.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Simple breakfast
Whilst guests point out that stopping for breakfast won't break the bank, many feel less than satisfied. You see, they are very simple and not that filling. Guests would prefer more choice and a bigger helping.
negative:
A bit dated
Even if the hotel offers good value and has its own particular charm, you can't escape the fact that it is a bit tired looking. Guests comment that it feels out of date and need a new lease of life!
negative:
Streets can be noisy
Whilst the hotel is in a pretty calm area and many guests are delighted with the quiet atmosphere, you still have the risk of noise from the streets outside. Despite the double glazing, guests are often kept awake by people in the streets outside or leaving the local bars. Others also complain that they can hear everything going on in the rooms around them.
