It’s on a swimming beach, which isn’t always the case in Los Cabos, with lots of water activities. It’s near plenty of bars, restaurants and clubs so if you’re looking for action and nightlife, you’ll love the area. It’s also walking distance to the marina and shopping so you don’t need to take taxis around, which is great.
Staff is extremely friendly and courteous. From the front desk to the beach, pool and activity staff, housekeeping and the restaurant/bar service, you won’t be disappointed. They’re attentive, cheerful and all contribute to a wonderful, relaxed vacation experience.
The resort offers good food at reasonable prices and daily drink specials. There are activities and music at the pool and a great pool bar with excellent service and prices. The beach club is pricey but very comfortable with amazing cabanas, lounge chairs and service. It’s a great mix; you can sit back and relax but there’s always something to do.
The hotel will pressure you to participate in a tour, which is essentially a timeshare pitch. If you decline, you’ll receive a worse room, likely a dark one on the lower floor. If you agree to the tour, you’ll receive a free room upgrade and other VIP perks but face a lengthy sales pitch and pressure. Overall, the service and sales tactics are disappointing.
