Positive Reviews
positive:
Comfortable and clean rooms.
Rooms are everything you could reasonably expect. Very clean and comfortably furnished. The excellent staff members go out of their way to make the family pet welcome, with a few nibbles on arrival after that long journey!
positive:
Excellent location.
The motel is close to I-75 and near US 41. Most places in this central Gulf Coast region can be accessed within an hour's car journey. Plus, it's really convenient for fishing and at the end of a tiring day, Cracker Barrel is right next door.
positive:
Start the day on the right note.
Breakfast is fine … and free! There's plenty of choice but it's the homely atmosphere created by the staff which sets the seal on a great start to the day. In fact, throughout the hotel and in all departments, members of staff are exceptionally friendly, thorough and efficient.

negative:
Gone to the dogs
Dog may be a man's best friend, but the bond is stretched to the limit here. It's not the dogs' fault though that there are canine hairs in sinks or that the room smells of … well, dog! Dogs aren't confined to specific rooms. They're all over the place, even in the dining area and that's not on at all.
negative:
The curse of the WiFi
The signal is very weak throughout the building. Inconvenient for all and particularly frustrating for business people who depend on it.
negative:
Haphazard cleaning.
Rooms can be overlooked as part of the daily cleaning routine, so items like toilet rolls and towels can get missed. Rather than falling over themselves to rectify the situation, you-the guest - are expected to go to the front desk to request supplies. Far from perfect.
