Guests have been impressed by the large, spacious rooms as well as by their cleanliness. The hotel has a very light, airy feel due to its spaciousness, soothing decor and bayside location.

The hotel is located on the quiet side of Clearwater - far enough away from the hub of action to be peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to all the local facilities and amenities to enable guests to reach by walking, which for most guests is quite ideal.

The staff members here are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, with a good attitude to customer service. It is repeatedly mentioned that the host here, Diane Bates, along with the staff, is courteous and very welcoming.

The front desk here only keeps office hours rather than a 24-hour service, so if guests require any specific service, they must wait until morning.

While the hotel is very clean and well-maintained, it is also a fact that the hotel seems a little worn and aged in places and could do with a refurbishment in order to give it back its shiny, new look. Many parts of the hotel could do with sprucing up and some of the fixtures and fittings need replacing.

The hotel seems to have a cockroach problem, possibly because of its out-of-the-way location. Guests have spotted several recently.
