Positive Reviews
positive:
Stunning views and surroundings
Guests may be treated to views of the lake, swimming pools or the ocean depending on their room or suite, and the beach is a few minutes' walk or golf-cart ride away. There is also a convenient shopping centre in the area.
positive:
Generous, home-like rooms and suites
The guest units at The Carillon Beach Resort Inn are very spacious, some even having more than one living room, full kitchens and multiple televisions.
positive:
Family-friendly atmosphere
There is plenty to do and see for people of all ages including the swimming pools, playground for the kids, fishing at Lake Carillon and the live in-house entertainments in the evenings. Not to mention the area is safe and not too crowded and the resort is even pet-friendly, making it ideal for whole families as well as couples, friends or solo-travellers.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No daily cleaning service
Guests at the resort will not have a housekeeping service, particularly on a shorter stay. Amenities such as toilet paper or towels for example, are supplied and replenished by the reception. Should you want a maid to attend to your room, this service is available but at an extra cost.
negative:
Internet service not very reliable
Although there is an internet café on site and a Wi-Fi connection in guest rooms, this is usually intermittent or weak so those hoping to get work done, for example, may not be lucky with that.
negative:
Front desk is not open twenty-four hours
The resort reception closes quite early in the evening and opens at the start of business in the morning, so in case of any emergencies or queries later on at night, you may struggle to reach a staff member. As for late check-ins and/or early check-outs, it would be advisable to speak to the front desk in advance to make the necessary arrangements.
