You’ll find us in the far north of the Maremma region of Tuscany, where the hills meet the sea, and reach out to the islands. Glance out of the window and you’ll see the island of Elba looking back at you, its blue and green hues locked in an embrace. Here you can go take excursions into the countryside and the Mediterranean scrubland, and visit towns and villages such as Suvereto, Campiglia Marittima, Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri, Massa Marittima and Volterra. Florence and Siena, cities of art, are nearby. You can board a ferry for the island of Elba just 20 km away in Piombino, while the Etruscan coast with the Gulf of Populonia and its archaeological excavations is also on your doorstep. You can find some of the best vineyards in the region right here, with great wineries, great wines and big-name producers all a stone’s throw away. Our stone building is located in a small tuscan village, Belvedere, 2 km from Suvereto (province of Livorno). It was built in 1600 by noblemen from Suvereto who were fleeing from the unhealthy, malaria-ridden air of the surrounding area at the time. There are 7 apartments ranging from studios to two and three-room flats with spacious bedrooms and kitchens. Some apartments have a fireplace. They are built in the typical Tuscan style, with terracotta floor tiles and wooden door and window frames.
