Hotel Blackstone Mountain Lodge by CLIQUE (Canmore, Canada)

The hotel is perfectly situated for enjoying the mountain views, as well as all of the leisure activities that such an environment brings. Hiking and cycling trails, cave exploring, Nature photography, horseback rising, swimming, golf, skiing, and pretty much everything you can think of is easily within range.

The rooms and suites are spotless, and well maintained during guest stays. They are also well furnished, and comfortably provide enough space and amenities for however many are renting the place. It's a cosy atmosphere to set up your stuff and use as a base during your vacation.

The staff clearly demonstrate their focus on customer satisfaction by doing whatever they can to accommodate inquiries, requests, and preferences. They are always approachable, and ready to handle whatever tasks are needed.

The walls at Blackstone Mountain Lodge are thin, resulting in conversations, loudly closing windows or doors, and other considerable noises being overheard. If you are sensitive to noise, make sure to pack a pair of ear plugs.

Although the suites have kitchen facilities, many would still prefer to have an onsite breakfast. The lack of that option makes the ambience somewhat disappointing.

Despite the lodge having comparable prices, being in a lovely location, and having nice onsite spa and pool amenities, it still lacks pizzazz. It's more on the mediocre side than something truly spectacular.
