Hotel Best Western Plus Heritage Inn Houston (Houston, USA)

For guests arriving by car it is very easy to find and situated just off the I-10. There are various eateries just a short walk away should you want to eat out.

There is a small gym on-site which has a range of cardio machines available to use. For those arriving by car there is a gated car park which is very secure.

The hotel has begun a large refurbishment project and guests that have stayed in the renovated rooms have said they are well-decorated and a huge improvement. Guests feel that this could be a fresh start for the property.

There have been reports of rooms not ready by the designated check-in time or worse still guests being checked in to rooms that have not been refreshed since the previous occupants checked out! Complaints include used towels still in the bathroom and food left in the fridge. The housekeeping team seem to lack any attention to detail with hairs being found in the room and the beds being made with sheets that are still wet.

The staff here make you feel like you are putting them out with any conversation you have with them. Disinterested and more attached to their mobile phone they are completely unwelcoming. The surly and sarcastic attitude often witnessed by guests makes you wonder if they have received any training on customer service.

The food served at the hotel is not of very good quality and guests try to avoid it where possible. The breakfast area does get busy though and at times it feels very congested.
