The location of the inn is great. It's within walking distance of Tampa Bay and there is a shuttle bus as well. Transport to museums is easy or you can just walk. It's near the water and fantastic restaurants too.
Parking is tricky in the area. Thankfully the inn offers free parking.
The house needs repairs here and there that are quite noticeable. Unfortunately, this takes away from the charm of the premises. The house and grounds are not in tip-top condition. Walls have water stains and the popcorn ceiling is cracking and drooping. The place could do with a good cleaning as well. However, each room is different, so you may very well get a room in better condition though the inn in general needs an overhaul.
You may encounter a stale breakfast of bread and pastries. Even the beverages seemed to have an old taste to them. If you like very sweet breakfast with cake and syrup you are in luck.
The shower water pressure has a mind of its own. It flows a bit and turns cold then finally goes full power again. This can happen frequently during one shower. There are no complimentary little soaps and shampoos either.
