Hotel Apartaments MS Alay (Benalmadena, Spain)

Guests have been pleasantly surprised that the apartments come equipped with an adult and children’s pool which are both kept clean and tidy. The pool bar offers drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Guests report that they love the air conditioning in the hotel, which is extremely helpful as evenings in the area can be quite warm (Benalmádena Marina is surrounded by mountains and therefore protected from any breeze).

The hotel is in a great location and is close proximity to the 24 Hour Square, tourist office, a large clean beach and bus station. All of these amenities are within walking distance and the promenade is great for an evening stroll. There are many bars and restaurants available on the main streets serving local and international cuisine.

There is a small charge for sunbeds which has put some guests off staying around the pool throughout the day. That said, some guests feel that the soft mattress makes the beds extremely comfortable and worth the money.

Guests staying in the sea view rooms report that because they also overlook the street, they can be noisy at times due to traffic, pedestrians and a sometimes busy night-life. Guests looking for a quiet room should request one with a pool view.

Guests have reported that the Wi-Fi has very poor signal strength and can generally only be connected to from the games room. Be prepared for slow service and intermittent disconnecting.
