Hotel Anthi Maria Beach Apartments (Pefki, Greece)

The location - overlooking a private beach in Pefkos - was a real winner and a great delight for those who were after a true seaside escape. Even better, all apartments within the complex have beach views.

The facilities are basic, but guests found that they had all they needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchens in particular were nicely equipped and some commented on the newer appearance of their bathrooms. The housekeeping standards here were also excellent, with many commenting on the spick and span appearance of their rooms. Some were also delighted to find little posies in their room after cleaning, a nice little touch that only added to the homey atmosphere.

This property is located in a quiet area just outside of town. However, those who wanted a bit more action were happy to find that Pefkos was only a short stroll away. Additionally, the nearby villages of Lardos and Lindos were easily accessible by car.

While this property was kept spotlessly clean, there were some reports of ants - especially during the summer.

The beach may only be a few steps away, but a lot of guests were quite taken aback by the fact that this property did not feature a pool. While that was certainly a concern, others felt that their apartments really could do with separate lounge or sitting areas.

Finally, a number of visitors mentioned that these apartments could do with a few added amenities to make things a bit more comfortable; tea, coffee and washing up liquid, many noted, wouldn't go amiss here.
