They say that breakfast is the best way to start the day and the breakfast served here is of a good quality. Although basic there is enough variety to find something to fill you up.

Room rates do tend to differ at this property but if you can find a good price for the dates you require it is worth booking. If you just want somewhere to lay your head for a night for a bargain price then this is worth considering.

The guestrooms are spacious and do not feel cramped even if there is more than one of you staying in the room. The lobby is also one of the nicest areas in the hotel.

Guests have reported the rooms smelling strongly of smoke, even when non-smoking rooms have been requested at the time of booking. The smell has been so overpowering that in some circumstances they have refused to stay in the room offered. If you are lucky enough to be given a room that does not reek of cigarette smoke it is likely you will have one that smells musty and damp instead.

The owners of this establishment desperately need to put some money into completely refurbishing this property. Guests have complained of broken fixtures and fittings, holes from cigarettes and slash marks in the bed and a carpet so filthy that they wouldn’t even take their shoes off.

Guests have felt that their safety has been compromised when staying here. Shady characters hang around the property and perhaps even use the hotel within their business dealings. Guests have not felt comfortable in the car park, walking through the public areas or even in their own room.
