Positive Reviews
positive:
Very clean rooms.
Rooms at Hotel Al Aseel Ajyad Makkah are kept spotlessly clean by well-trained and dedicated hotel cleaning staff who clearly have a keen eye for detail. Complimentary items as well as minibar items are consistently restocked and the en-suite bathrooms are clean and in good condition.
positive:
Multilingual friendly staff.
Hotel staff are professional and very approachable with a number of front desk staff able to assist in both Arabic and in English. Hotel staff are also able to help with booking tickets and advising on best places to visit in Makkah.
positive:
Proximity to Holy Haram.
One of the most popular highlights of this hotel, and one of the biggest reasons why travellers consistently choose it has to do with its proximity to the Holy Haram. Mecca is one of the busiest cities in the world and being able to easily get to the places that matter on foot is a definite plus.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noise can be an issue.
Rooms at Hotel Al Aseel Ajyad Makkah are not well insulated against noise as there is not much sound proofing in either walls or in windows. The street noise outside can get extremely loud, especially during busier periods and interior noise can also sometimes be an issue, particularly in the evenings.
negative:
Located on a hill.
The hotel is located at the top of a hill which can be quite challenging to guests returning to the hotel on foot after a long day sightseeing or visiting the mosque or nearby shopping mall.
negative:
Some rooms are quite small.
Some of the rooms at the hotel are quite small and not suited to families or large parties, this is also similar in the en-suite which is very basic and small and not everyone will find the restricted size comfortable.
