Hostal Santiaguito is the only hostel in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. It is located 5 minutes away from the boat docks, right in front of the Campo San Jorge football field and just a few minutes walk from the town center. Our amenities you can enjoy are wifi, an internet cafe, kitchen facilities, hot showers, a barbecue deck, and access to basketball and soccer court right by the lake. We also have an available event area on the second floor of the hostel. We are well known for our beautiful garden with stunning views of Lake Atitlan. Come visit us! You won't regret this authentic experience! For accommodation, you can choose from 8 different rooms, of which two are shared dormitory-style rooms and the rest are private rooms with one or two beds. There is a highschool for local teenagers affiliated to the hostel. This is a self-sustaining project supported by numerous associations, which helps students in humble areas obtain an appropriate education and degree. One of the main sources of income to keep this educative center running comes from the hostel. Thus, when paying for a room at Hostal Santiaguito, you help funding the education of local teenagers.
