Located a short walk from Montanita, infront of the infamous point break, this is part of the beach where you want to stay! We are part of a little community of hotels and restaurants where surfing, yoga and maximizing hammock time are the top priorities! Here at Casa del Sol you will find 12 rooms spread over 3 floors, all facing the common courtyard. An organic mix of indoor and outdoor space that is designed with a perfect balance of quartz stone and bamboo allows the property a nice flow. Offering all types of rooms, we something for all budgets. Private rooms with a/c or a fan, and 2 floor loft style dorm rooms. All have private bathrooms with hot water, strong wifi and a delicious, different breakfast in the mornings. You will find the only yoga studio in Montanita on site at the hotel. Yoga Montanita offers a full schedule of varied classes every week, all year round. Surf classes and board rentals are available here, as well as beach cruiser bikes to get you into town and back! Once a week we host a movie in the outdoor cinema and the hotel bar is always busy with people passing through. The on site restaurant offers lunches and dinners a few times a week. All dishes are made fresh and with local ingredients.
