Positive Reviews
positive:
Off the highway, close to the action
This hotel is close to the busy highway 73, but far away enough from the action for a quiet stay. It is an easy drive to stores, restaurants, and family entertainment options like Diggerland. It's also close to light rail transit for those who need to travel into the city.
positive:
Welcoming staff makes the welcome
The reception staff certainly gives a friendly welcome, but provides a whole lot more. They are helpful in the business center for those who work from the hotel and are great at providing recommendations for those who are new in the area.
positive:
Home, plus
The hotel is so comfortable that many consider it to be a home away from home. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. There is free parking, a strong WiFi signal, and a delicious breakfast. It's like home, only better in some areas.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Your points might not work
The brand switch from Comfort Inn to Holiday Inn has been swift, but not pleasant. Guests are finding that their point systems aren't offered; they have been double billed by both chains; and website aren't clear about what the hotel is. No notification has caused confusion and even the employees and new features don't live up to the standards of the Holiday Inn label.
negative:
Peace, but no quiet
The rooms aren't soundproofed and noise from other areas of the hotel can be easily heard. Expect to hear hallway conversations and noise from neighboring rooms, like talking and TV chatter.
negative:
Pleasant, but not effective
If concerns and problems are brought to management, the results are a friendly apology. However, many guests feel as if the inconvenience should result in discounts or switching of rooms, but these requests aren't honored on a regular basis.
