Guests couldn't say enough good things about the host, Chris. He was described as incredibly welcoming, and the perfect host. “Nothing was too much trouble” was a statement that often seemed to come up.

A couple of guests were very impressed with the host's approach to serving breakfast. Rather than demanding that all guests have breakfast within a narrow timeslot so he could get on with other things he displayed a willingness to accommodate guest's schedules, and not the other way round. They found this very refreshing.

It seems that pretty much all guests mentioning cleanliness were very happy with both the cleanliness of their rooms, and the public areas. The cleaning staff appear to keep a close eye on things, and guests also mentioned that a high state of cleanliness was maintained throughout their stay.

The reviews of Plumpton Court were simply overwhelmingly positive. It was hard to find any negative points raised consistently. One that did seem to come up was that a few guest had problems with their showers. The problems were varied, ranging from it being too small for comfort to it stopping mid-shower.

While not often raised, some guests did feel that their room was a bit cramped. Usually the other factors more than made up for the small room, but they certainly would have liked it to be bigger.

A couple of guests commented that there really weren't many good places to eat nearby, meaning they had to drive a decent distance for their evening meal.
