The guest rooms and tables of the Gourmet stop (reference by the Gault Millau des Régions Occitanie edition 2020) are located in a large former silkworm farm in the heart of a small valley, surrounded by the tranquility of the woods. The house has a south-facing terrace allowing you to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Cévennes. Many walking paths invite you to explore the surrounding valleys. Passing under a large stone arch, where the swallows come each year to strengthen their clay nests, the entrance leads to a vast covered inner courtyard. In summer, it is good to sit there in the shade during the heat wave, or in the evening to enjoy an exceptional atmosphere, by candlelight, during our Gourmet Stopover. Our Gourmet Stop intends to highlight creative and refined cuisine. For this, recipes prepared with love are offered to you. They give pride of place to the mixture of flavors, audacity and inventiveness. On this occasion, you will be able to make surprising culinary experiences with traditional Mediterranean influences but also marked by cultural riches from various continents, with varied and tasty seasonings. In search of a superior quality of meat, fish and vegetables, we have chosen organic, natural products by supplying ourselves with exclusively regional fresh products. Our meat and poultry, from free range farming, come from small slaughterhouses and family breeding structures in the Cévennes. On the other hand, all our meats are matured. This maturation work, like the aging of wine or the ripening of cheese, requires time (between 12 and 14 days) and unique know-how on the part of the butchers. This step is decisive in obtaining quality, tender meat with an exceptionally tasty taste. The Gourmet Stop is available every evening by reservation. It includes a gourmet surprise dinner at the price of 59 euros per person (without drinks). Special menus, at the price of 99 euros per person (without drinks), are offered on public holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter, Pentecost, New Year's Eve). Our offer also includes wellness and relaxation stays, gourmet getaway stays and gourmet getaway stays for the holidays. Breakfast is included in the reservation. The buffet offers a wide choice, including homemade yogurt, several varieties of bread with various cereals, many jams and fruit (pastries available on request).
