Stellar Location
Located right on the beach with excellent proximity to the boardwalk, lighthouse and pier. Plenty of attractions within easy walking distance, such as the Wharf, surf shops, bowling alleys, bars and cafes. Convenient for pet lovers, this is a pet-friendly hotel for a fee. There's a Thai restaurant steps away which is especially popular among locals and guests.

Rooms with a View
Stunning ocean views can be enjoyed from many of these rooms - make sure to request one if you get the chance! Private balconies on some; some are also recently renovated with modern decor. Well-stocked kitchens offer the opportunity to cook meals for yourself on-site. Beds are notoriously cozy.
positive:
Superb Staff
Front desk and housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful while all departments are commendable for their accommodating, charming service. You can even text some of them during your stay - ask about it at check-in.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noise Issues
There can be noise from the passersby outside, especially near the restaurant below. Not much the hotel can do about this, but you might want to keep the window closed and bring earplugs or a fan if you're a light sleeper.
negative:
Outdated Decor & Amenities
Some felt their room lacked modernization, especially with the tired decor. There appears to be a gradual renovation taking place, which means some areas are still awaiting their refurb. Chairs might be less comfy than desired, paint may seem a bit dull, and some of the balconies are shared with other suites. Some guests would have preferred units with kitchens attached - but several rooms had recently had their kitchen areas removed during refurbishment. Ask about this if kitchens are essential for your stay.
negative:
Things That Are Weak
The free Wi-Fi can be troublesome, and the water pressure for showering is remarkably low.
