The Fiesta Resort is ideally located one hour from the hustle and bustle of the capital of Costa Rica. Rooms are set amongst tropical lush gardens and include air conditioning, coffee maker and Doubletree’s Sweet Dreams' Sleep experience. Wi-Fi is free throughout the resort so guests can stay connected by one of the four pools. Relax with a treatment at Heliconia Spa or remain active with access to a range of waterspouts such as surfboards and kayaks. There are a number of on-site bars and restaurants at this all inclusive resort which serve a selection of local seafood and regional dishes. The Calypso is the main dining area whereas the Caña Brava offers an a la carte expereinece. Each night the hotel hosts a show in its own amphitheater. During the day guests may wish to leave the resort to explore Tortuga Island or the Manuel Antonio National Park.

Visitors travelling with children had an excellent time and they positively reviewed the resort. Many of these guests really enjoyed the range of activities put on by the entertainment staff who made sure their kids were never stuck for something to do.
There are four big connected pools at the resort and for those guests who came to sunbath and relax by the pool this featured prominently across a number of reviews.
The hotels sells locals a day pass to access the resort and the pools on weekends, which for some guests left them a little disappointed that they could not get near the pools or the pool chairs; as there was little to no space when the resort turned into a water-park for locals on the weekend.
Some guests thought that the buffet prepared food was a little on the average side with guests commenting that the food could only be described as average at best, with some calling for a wider selection and more variety to cater to a range of tastes.
A common theme across a number of reviews was the need for hotel management to pay more attention to the clean up of the grounds in and around the resort. Guests also suggested that housekeeping needed to spend a little more time in rooms with many finding evidence of previous guests on check-in such as hair in drains and in beds.
