About The Retreat Tamborine Mountain

The Retreat at Mount Tamborine is your hideway home nestled in the rainforest with stunning views out to the Gold Coast. Your surround sound is bird calls from the rain forest and you will hear our resident whip bird but you will not see him. Come and chill out by the fire in the lounge, sip your favoutire drink and be lulled by some smokey jazz. The Main House has king and queen size en suited bedrooms bookended between the open lounge, dining, kitchen area. The adjoining Bunk House has 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each and an adjoining bathroom. Both Main House and Bunk House are airconditioned. The Retreat sleeps 8 in very comfortable beds which are ready made, and the bathrooms are equipped with towels face towels washers etc. The kitchen is equipped with tea, coffee etc and there is plenty if ice available in the freezer if required. There are 2 cafes for coffee also a short walk away. The large covered verandah is ideal for breakfast overlooking the coastal views. As previous guests have commented the only think they did not like was leaving The Retreat. The Retreat is very highly rated with 4.8 stars.
