The rooms have been described as having a pleasant modern decor and guests appreciated having all the necessary mod-cons in their rooms such as microwaves and fridges which made it easy for them to store and prepare food. The bathrooms were also said to be well-presented with up-to-date fixtures and fittings.
Guests complimented the service they received from the staff, often mentioning them by their names and stating that they were made to feel welcome and at ease for the duration of their stay. Front-desk staff were described as accommodation and often gave guests helpful advice about the local area.
Many of the guests said that their first impression of the hotel wasn't very favorable due to the poor appearance of the exterior. The facade was said to be rather dated and tired-looking with many observing that it had obviously not been renovated for quite some time.
Not all of the rooms have picturesque views as some guests were disappointed to find that their windows looked out onto the car park. If you are keen on a scenic view it's advisable to let staff know prior to booking.
The Wi-Fi connection was said to be very weak in rooms located at the back of the hotel which meant that guests had to take their devices closer to the reception area in order to connect to the internet.
