Crystal Beach Suites Miami Oceanfront Hotel (Miami Beach, USA)

If you or your family are traveling on a budget, this hotel will fit the bill. You won't have four or five star accommodations, but it will do for a short stay.

There are really good restaurants in the area. You will find many types of international dishes and there's a large supermarket around the corner that offers hot meals, fresh fruit, and other edibles. If you prefer cooking your own meals, the kitchenette in your room should be fully equipped and in good working order.

The location is good. If your desire is to be close to the beach when booking this hotel, you will be very pleased. The beach is not overly crowded either, so you will have enough room to chill out and enjoy the scene.

Unfortunately, the hotel has paper thin walls and you can hear visitors in the next room as if they were standing in front of you. If they are noisy, you can forget about having a good night's rest unless you are a deep sleeper.

The décor of the room is old looking. It just looks outdated. Possibly if the furniture didn't look so worn they could possibly get away with it. For example, the TV is not flat screen it's one of those old tube type designs. The beds are squeaky, you might encounter a musky old smell, and you may spot a roach or two. The furnishings will probably remind you of a cheap beach motel, more so than a suite along the beach. There is no complimentary breakfast either.

The elevator takes forever! It must be the slowest elevator on earth. If you can't take the stairs for whatever reason, which might be faster, be sure to start out early.
