Classic Motel (Mermaid Beach, Australia)

The price for the room is a good deal; it's a basic rate but gives more value. The beach and entertainment are easy to get to and you'll have free Wi-Fi and cable TV.  The rooms with the refrigerator are an added value and the family rooms give enough space for a group of four.

The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds and all the functional features. Service is friendly and welcoming and there are some pleasant extra touches, like the barbecue for guest use.

There are several restaurants within easy walking distance and the beach is also just a short walk away. A shopping centre is located nearby and its a short drive to Jupiters Casino.

Because of the lower price rate, there are some amenities that just aren't offered. Don't expect complimentary toiletries and the Wi-Fi is a bit slow. Your room also won't have a hair dryer and you'll have to request one from the desk. None of the rooms have toasters or microwaves and there's only a basic kettle for beverage needs. Your room also won't offer radios, clocks, or telephones.

While the hotel itself is located off the main road and busiest areas, the location is still close enough for road noise to intrude and interrupt sleep. If you're a light sleeper, you might have some late nights.

The hotel was built a while ago and that's easy to see as soon as you arrive. It's an old-fashioned building with older features all around. Nothing, including water temperature or shower pressure, has been modernised.
