City Hotel Ring (Budapest, Hungary)

Guests were impressed with the service at the front desk, noting how usually only two members of the staff were able to successfully accommodate the requests of the guests, as well as the check-in and check-out process at the same time. Moreover, guests also relied on them for good recommendations of restaurants and attractions to go to in the city.

The hotel is situated directly on a major street near the centre of Budapest. Guests loved the fact that it is only a stone throw from the popular Danube River, as well as the Nyugati metro and train station. There are also many restaurants, shops, boutiques and other unique stores in the area.

Although the breakfast was just a standard fare- the usual eggs, bread, cheese, and meat products, guests were still amused at the complimentary service. They loved the quality of the food, as well as its generous serving.

The common negative review for this hotel is the filthy curtains and carpet in the rooms. Many said that the rooms themselves looked as if they haven't experienced cleaning for a long time. The hallways and the communal areas did not really impress guests either.

Previous guests became irritated because of the hot temperature inside their rooms. Moreover, many guests stated that their conditioners, even functional, barely did anything to cool down the rooms.

Many guests complained that most of the taps in the bathrooms were either loose or broken. Other guests complained that the shower handle came off, and that the bathrooms smelled of mould and mildew.
