Not only is it situated in the old town, but guests were extremely happy to find that it is located amid a whole host of restaurants, bars and shops. Those keen for a walk were also delighted to find that the tangle of medieval streets surrounding the hotel - as well as the nearby port - made for an atmospheric stroll.
Set in a Menorcan townhouse, this boutique hotel boasts a truly minimal feel. Despite this, guests were very much impressed by the overall quality of the furnishings here, especially the linens and the spacious beds. The housekeeping standards were also highly commended.
While this property doesn't provide the services of a conventional hotel, the vast majority of visitors couldn't help but comment on the incredibly helpful attitude of the owners/proprietors, who seem to go out of their way to offer suggestions on local attractions and eateries. The décor may be pared-back, but the customer service here is anything but minimal.
The lack of a lift within the building was one of the very minor complaints associated with this property. Those unable to haul their luggage up the stairs may wish to consider this prior to booking.
While the beds here are large, some guests felt that the mattresses were just too firm, bordering on uncomfortable.
Finally, a number of guests reported thin walls. Many commented that they could hear their neighbours and some reported that noise was an issue during their stay.
