About Wachahof

Wachahof farm is located outside the town of Edlitz, aside the main travelling roads on a sunny south-facing slope with a panoramic view to the eastern edge of the Alps. The apartments and cottages are situated nearby the farmyard. A lawn for sunbathing a barbecue area and garden furniture are available. Most important, the opportunity to enjoy nature - reaching as far as one can see - is given, too. Embedded in forest and grassland, our region provides the surroundings to relax, to hike, to collect mushrooms or to explore nature by bike. For all those who are eager to do some sports, an outdoor pool, a sports field and a tennis court are provided in Edlitz. Moreover, it is also possible to go on excursions to the wind wheel with its observation deck in Lichtenegg, the place of pilgrimage "Maria-Schnee" and the fortified church street through the "Bucklige Welt". If you need further suggestions or information as well as recommendations, we are happy to help. Products from our farm like bread, schnaps, apple- or pear juice, seasonal fruits and potatoes can be bought at our place.
