Negative Reviews
negative:
Shared bathrooms
Several of the B&B's rooms have shared bathrooms while some have en suites. This poses obvious problems of a lack of privacy and convenience for many guests.
negative:
Hot, noisy rooms
Rooms at The Red Lion are described as being very hot “like a sauna” said one guest. Also the fact that noise tends to carry from other rooms and from the pub, which has music and entertainment in the evenings, was problematic for some guests; particularly those looking to have a restful, early night. The rear of the pub also hosts functions that can be noisy and disturbing.
negative:
Poor breakfast
Several guests found breakfast to be poor and below the general high standard of food offered. The choice is poor and service is disorganised, said guests.
