Rivendell Bed & Breakfast Dumfries is a craftsman-style mansion built in 1924 that although renovated retains the original design and character of the home.
The standard guestrooms provide ensuite, flat-screen TV, ironing set, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. Superior rooms offer the same amenities along with a four-poster bed.
The non-smoking B&B offers free parking, outdoor seating, garden, children's playground and designated smoking areas.
There's a full free breakfast that's served daily in the dining area.
Rivendell Bed & Breakfast Dumfries is near the Robert Burns Centre. It's also less than a mile to the town centre of Dumfries where you can find restaurants, pubs and shops. There's also nearby biking, fishing and golfing within a 20 minute drive or less.

Several visitors said they couldn't find any faults within the hotel. In fact, they would stop again since they found it well worth the money they spent. It's an ideal B&B, especially if you're traveling to the Dumfries area. Furthermore, any complaints about the hotel seem to be minute, or one-off occurrences.

Visitors love to much about the hotel. The rooms were specially clean and comfortable and ensuite features work exceptionally well. Put all together and people say they had a very relaxing, pleasant stay. Even the grounds of the restored mansion seem welcoming and bright.
