A traditional English inn that dates back to the 16th century, Ring O’Bells is in the village of Chagford within the Dartmoor National Park. There are four comfortable ensuite rooms here, a twin and doubles are available. All come fitted with tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a flatscreen TV. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the inn, dogs are allowed on the property, and there is a courtyard for guests to relax outdoors in. The pub downstairs has a restaurant area where breakfast is served, and the kitchen is open for lunch and dinner, serving British cuisine and some international favourites. Real ales, premium spirits and other refreshments are available at the bar. Castle Drogo, a National Trust property, is just ten minutes’ drive from Ring O’Bells, and the town of Okehampton is a 20 minute drive away.

This inn began life in the 16th century, opening its doors to travellers from all over Britain and beyond. The building has a rich history and you will enjoy a unique experience staying here.
From the hearty full English breakfast in the morning to the pulled pork and gravy rolls for lunch, this inn serves up some great quintessentially English cuisine. Enjoy favourites like bangers and mash or fish and chips for dinner.
If you need to stay connected to the internet while staying here don't rely solely on the free Wi-Fi. It does not offer the best connection, and the trouble is probably down to the fact that this inn is in quite a rural location.
The pub downstairs can get pretty noisy, and unfortunately the rooms here are well within ear shot of all the commotion. If you are planning to get your head down early for some rest you could be rudely awaked come closing time.
If you are driving to Ring O'Bells you should be aware that there is nowhere to park your car directly outside the property. Instead you will have to use a public car park just up the road, so be prepared to carry your luggage.
